Well. Uncertain date, cover possibly early C19. Ham stone slab cover; in local stone rubble surround. Cover has
vertical slabs to 3 sides, with raked slab cover; spindle still in position between slabs. Surround in coursed stone
rubble former quarter circle on plan, about 1 metre high above road level: well now sunken below road level and
overgrown. Important though unspectacular survival of local significance : similar cover to well outside No.1,
Thatched Cottages, off Higher Street (qv).
