Baker's shop, now a private house. C17, upper floor and E part C18,
brick cased and altered in C19. Timber frame now cased in brick, painted
or plastered and lined as ashlar. Old red tile roof. A 2-storeys, 2
windows house facing N with central door now a window and entrance from
rear. Small C18 canted bay shop window at W side of front and internal W
gable chimney. The W 2 bays have a heavy timber frame with jowled posts,
cross-beam and exposed joists in W bay, of a 1½-storeys C17 building. E
end defined by mortices on soffit of beam, formerly end-girt, across E
room. Recessed sash windows with margin-lights. Included for group value.
