Red sandstone random rubble, clay tile darn block half hipped to right, pantiled crosswing right, brick stacks gable ends and to left of cross passage between dwelling and mill. Plan: 2 cell and cross passage with cross passage right dividing mill house from mill building with abutting lower crosswing, perhaps a bakery. Two and one and a half storeys, 4 bay main block, 2 and 3-light C20 casements, ground floor 3-light casements between plank doors, crosswing bread oven projects gable end, one gabled dormer rising below eaves, ground floor window to right of entrance. Pantiled wings at rear Interior: partially sighted: remains of machinery insitu in mill end bay right of main block, overshot water wheel removed but course of leat evident. Chamfered beams with enriched stops. It would appear that a bakery was attached to the mill. The whole forms a picturesque group.
