(Marked on O.S. map as Holcombe Manor) House. Late C18, some mid C19 alteration. Ashlar, end pilasters, plain first
floor band, cornice, parapet with coping, hipped slate roof, ashlar stacks. Two storeys, 4 bays, sash windows with
glazing bars. Flat roofed porch to left, angle pilasters, cornice and blocking course. Elliptical head door opening,
fanlight with glazing bars, panelled doors with side lights. Rich interior with good plasterwork, staircase, panelled
doors and further lesser features. For a time the home of the Scott family, including Robert Falcon Scott, the
explorer.
