Cottage of C16/C17 with C18 wing to left. H plan. Left facing gable
of granite and slate rubble stone, centre and right facing gable
of square panelled timber framing with brick nogging, 1 panel herringbone
patterned. This gable, of 3 panels, has stone plinth. Swithland
slate roof overall with rebuilt end and central ridge stacks. 2 storeys
of casements; 3,3,1,1, 3-light to 1st floor with 2, 3, 1, 3-light casements,
door with Swithland slate canopy, and 3-light casement below. Windows in
left gable have stone cambered lintels. Outshut with door on left end.
Dormer on right end. Stone walling to rear with timber framed, brick
nogging, left gable. Right projecting wing has end stack. Casements
with cambered lintels and 2 French windows.
