Cottage. Possibly C15 with later alterations and additions. Timber
framed with brick infill and some brick rebuilding; thatched roof;
brick off-ridge stack and corner stack. Baffle-entry plan; 3 framed
bays aligned north-south facing east, the central bay was extended to
the south probably in the C17 and to the north probably in the early C18.
One storey and attic; 3 windows, C20 casements with leaded panes, eyebrow
dormer to left of centre; C20 nail studded door to right of centre.
Framing: square panels of irregular size and straight braces; collar and
tie beam roof truss exposed to the north. Interior: the central bay was
formerly open to roof and has fragments of a timber framed smoke hood.
