Lodge. Early to mid-C19. Stuccoed and roofed with alternate bands of plain tiles and beaver-tail tiles; ornamental ridge crestings and scalloped and pierced barge boards. Central stack at junction between main ridge and higher ridge of projecting gabled crosswing to right. One storey with attic storey in crosswing. One window under gable and 2 windows on ground floor; segmental - pointed arch windows with Y-glazing and hood moulds, except small canted bay with hipped pentice tiled roof and mullion and transom glazing on ground floor of crosswing. Lozenge leaded glazing. Gabled stuccoed porch on right hand return with pointed doorway and ridge cresting. One of a pair of lodges flanking the driveway to Burbage House (demolished).
