Front boundary wall. C18 and possibly C20. Ham stone cut and squared, rubble at ends, ashlar dressings. Wall enclosing
front garden, about 4 metres from house, averaging one metre high, with thin plain coping: simple gateway opposite
doorway with pair wrought-iron gates having elliptical top rail with arrowhead spikes to this and middle rail: wall
returns back to house on south-west corner. At each end are wing walls and gateways set back, marked by rubble piers
with ashlar caps having neck stands and ball finials, the whole contributing to the setting of nos 3, 5 and 7 Hayes End
(q.v.).
