House. C17. Coursed rubble stone with quoins and stone dressings and
Collyweston slate roof with moulded stone central ridge and end stacks.
Stone coped gables. 2½ storeys of 4 stone mullion windows: 2-light,
2-light, 3-light, 4-light. 3 2-light hipped dormers above. On ground
floor 3-light, 2-light, wooden porch with Collyweston slate roof and
4-panelled door, 5-light canted bay and 6-light square bay. Both bays
of ashlar with Collyweston slate roof. 2 wings to rear. Inside are an
inglenook fireplace and stone fireplace with Tudor arch. Extending from
left corner of house a wall c1½m high which then borders road and turns
up by right end of house.
