Cottage. Probably C17. Timber-frame with brick nogging in regular
square panels, tiled roof, stone external chimney. Two storeys,
3 bays of which the 2 to the right are C17 and the one to the left
C20 brick painted to resemble timber-framing. C20 casements regularly
placed and C20 glazed entrance porch to right of centre; external
chimney obscured by glazed extension of one storey to left. C19
brick extension to rear left. Roof trusses with simple collars to
principals appear to survive unaltered; close-spaced joists in ground
floor room.
