Early C19, possibly related to the Howick Street development. Two storeys, No
14 with basement, 2+3 windows. Ashlar with simple moulded eaves cornice. Slate
roof with coped verge to left, one brick ridge chimney and another to right behind
ridge. Glazing bar sash windows. No 14 has tall round headed doorway with steps
to 6 panel door (top 4 raised and fielded) and pointed glazing in fanlight; a depressed
arch to throughpassage and yard on left. No 16 has central doorway with good bracketted
segmental stone hood, 6 panel door.
