Terrace, steps and garden retaining walls, probably designed to E Newton's

lower terrace about 35 yards long with central break; carved panels set in on
either side of break; upper wall closing area in front of house and approached
by 4 flight stone staircase with central balustraded section to parapet. Similar
wall extends about 20 yards from south front to support pool which drains out
in the centre of a wall in a mask below a sculpture of Ceres. Similar but
curved retaining wall to carriage sweep east of house and small Japanese style
wicket gate.
