Cottage. Probably C18. Timber-framed, wattle and daub and brick panels,
rubble end walls, half-hipped tiled roof. One storey and attic, 3 bays,
C19 12-pane casement to centre bay small single pane window to left
bay, 2 paired 6-pane casements to left gable and to one raking dormer
over centre bay. Ledged C19 door to left hand side of centre bay. Large
brick ridge stack at junction of centre and right bays. Lean-to single
storey extension with tiled roof to left of entrance. Frame varies between
2 and 2-a-bit panels from cill to wall-plate levels, the panels generally
having a vertical emphasis; corner posts have straight struts to front wall-
plate; weatherings to gable tie-beams.
