SU 64 SE LASHAM COMMON LANE

3/11 Church Farmhouse

GV II

House. C17, late C18, with considerable mid-Cl9 alterations and extensions.
Brick walls and tiled roof. Symmetrical south-east elevation of 2 storeys, 2
windows; hipped roof, stepped eaves fillet, red brickwork in Flemish bond (C18)
cambered openings, the east side being of Monk bond (C19). One upper casement,
2 Victorian triple sashes, and a French door. The long south-west elevation is
2 storeys, 4.1 windows; hipped roof, brickwork in English and Flemish bond, case-
ments, and a brick porch with hipped tile roof and ½ glazed door. Inside, there
is a massive chimney breast and remains of a timber framed house, and indications
of the extensions of the C18 and mid C19.
