C16/17 timber-frame house, plastered. Steep gable-ended roof with peg-tiles
and pantiles. Two storeys. Casement windows, some modern. Two storeyed
gabled porch at centre with four-light mullion/transom window and sash, and
lean-to at side. Fielded panel door to left. At rear a central gabled staircase
wing containing stairs said to be original with turned balustrade. Fine
brick chimney stack off centre with four circular moulded brick flues.
Another brick stack at south end.
South-west wing at right angles, probably originally a cottage, plastered
timber-frame, steep gable-ended pantile roof, 2 storeys, casements some blocked,
brick chimney stack on end.
