Cottage. C16, early C19, with C20 restoration. Mixed walling materials, and a
thatched roof. A timber-framed building of 1 storey and attic, 3 windows. The
frame is exposed mainly in the upper walls and in the north gable, with brick
infill (some stone), the south gable being tile-hung with fish scale tiles : the
lower walls are mostly ironstone with galletted joints and brick quoins. Case-
ments. 2 boarded doors in plain frames, one within an open framed porch with a
hipped thatch roof. The west elevation contains a small window frame with
diagonal wood mullions.
