C16 timber-frame house. Plastered. Steep gable-ended tiled roofs with
C19 pierced barge boards, jettied east end gable. Gabled cross wing on west
end and small C17 timber-frame wing at rear (north) of cross wing. Two storeys
and attic. Main east range 3 widely-spaced windows and gabled cross wing
one window. Modern mullion/transom casements with leaded panes. Brick chimney
stack off centre with diagonally set shafts and central stack to cross wing.
Doorway in front of chimney stack of east part. Interior of main range ovolo
moulded ceiling beam with chamfered joists, depressed arch brick fireplace.
West cross wing contains chamfered ceiling beams and large fireplace with
timber bressumer, newel stairs at rear of wing adjoining C17 north-west wing.
