House. 1829. Brick with hipped slate and pantile roofs with
gabled rear wing and stone hips. Cogged and dentillated eaves,
single central and ridge stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Windows are
glazing bar sashes with rendered splayed lintels. South front
has central reeded ashlar doorcase with open pediment and
geometrical overlight and C19 panelled door. Flanked by single
sashes and above, central blank panel flanked by single sashes.
West side has to left, single casement and above, a glazing bar
sash. Rear wing has to west, central door with segmental head.
East side has, to right, single sash on each floor. Rear wing,
to right, has rainwater head inscribed 'J S 1829'. Central C20
glazed porch flanked to left by single Yorkshire sash and beyond,
C20 casement. To right, half glazed door, and above, 3
casements. All openings have segmental heads.
