Description


BOLSTONE CP - SO 53 SW 5/12 Gannah Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse. Probably C17 with later alterations and extensions. Sandstone rubble with brick dressings. Welsh slate roofs, hipped to north. Sandstone rubble and brick stacks. Irregular rectangular plan sligned north-west/south- east. Cellar and two storeys. South-west elevation has two windows. Early C20 two-light casements in brick segmental arches. Ground floor has one similar window set centrally beneath the other two. To the left is a lean-to containing a doorway and enveloping a side stack. North elevation has two windows, cross-casements in segmental heads to each floor. Beneath are two openings, with similar heads, to cellar. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
