The Vicarage

Vicarage. C18. Colourwashed brick and Swithland slate and black glazed
pantile roof with brick ridge and end stacks. Entrance faces right and
Churchyard of St. Cuthbert (q.v.). 2 gables facing. 2.1/2 storeys. On left
gable 2 1st floor 2-light wooden mullion and transom windows. 2-light
casement over, and on ground floor a canted bay with 3 6/6 sashes, and gabled
glazed porch. Inside this a 6-panelled door, with upper 4 panels glazed, and
overlight, the glazing bars of which form a central diamond. On right gable
an attic 1-light casement. On right end are 2 8/8 sashes over 8/8 and canted
bay with 6/6 sashes. Band and cemented plinth.
