Bowdler monument in churchyard
about 16m south of gatepiers, south-
east of Church of St. Thomas


Double chest tomb, late C18, ashlar with single oval plaque to each
side, fluted angle piers and moulded base and cornice.
Inscriptions to T. and E. S. Bowdler, dates indecipherable. The
family of the editor of "The Family Shakespeare".
