6/287 Barn at Trowle Farm


Barn. Probably C18. Random rubble stone, concrete Roman tiled
roof with coped verges with saddlestones. Five bays. Gabled porch
on south side with weatherboarded gable, lean-to to left with
planked door and planked door to left of this, slit vent in wall to
right of porch. Loading bays to left return. North side has porch
with hipped roof. Interior has collar and tie-beam truss five-bay
roof. Currently being converted to dwelling (July 1987).
