House, probable C16 core with alterations of C17 and early C19. 2 storeys,
the centre range with attics. A cross-wing to left and a higher wing to rear
right. Mainly timber-framed, the front and side walls encased in early C19
gault brick. Hipped plaintiled roofs. A large axial chimney with rebuilt
shaft of C19 gault brick; an external chimney to left of crosswing and another
to rear. Two C19 flat-headed casement dormers. Early C19 small-pane sashes
with flat arches of gauged brick. C19 entrance door at lobby-entrance
position, with gabled open entrance porch on slender wooden posts and arched
headed lights. Interior not examined.
