Farmhouse. C16, possibly earlier, and early C18. Limestone rubble: uncoursed
and squared and coursed with timber lintels; old plain-tile roof with brick
ridge-stack. 3-unit lobby-entry plan. One storey plus attics. 3-window front
with plank door flanked by 3-light casements and to extreme right a C17 oval
stone opening in a rectangular moulded surround with an iron stanchion and
hooks for shutter hinges. 3 gabled 2-light dormers over. Lower roof over the
earlier part of uncoursed rubble, right of the door and stack. Left gable wall
has a plinth with a moulded brick weathering, returning to the rear wall, and a
gable parapet. Rear wing rebuilt circa 1930. Interior: Earlier section has a
central exposed cruck-frame. One of two cruck structures known in the village.
