House, C17 with C19 alterations. Main range of colourwashed narrow C17 red bricks. Plaintiled roof: a moulded wooden eaves cornice of late C18 with paired modillions. An axial chimney with mid C19 decorative work in gault terracotta: a frieze in the C17 manner (c.p. Evergreen House) with a diaperwork pattern, and three circular shafts with corkscrew and diaper patterning. A second chimney has a smaller frieze and a single large white terracotta chimney pot with diaper patterned shaft. A further single-flue chimney on the rear roof slope has a shaft similar to those of the main stack. Two storeys and attics. Four windows to main range. Early C19 sashes with flush frames: originally with small panes, but most have been wholly or partly renewed with large panes. Six-panelled entrance door of early C19 with panelled linings and Roman Doric portico porch with entablature. To left is an early C19 extension: gault brick, hipped slated roof. Two storeys, one window. A small-pane sash above a six-panelled entrance door. Further C19 wings to rear.
