Fine medieval barn,part of the original manorial complex mentioned by Aubrey.Probable C15 origin with C20 alterations.Coursed rubble with dressed stone to buttresses and midstrey jambs,corrugated asbestos roof.Long eight bay range with asymmetrically placed full-height gabled midstreys to north and south sides.Further segmental-headed cart openings with plank doors to both sides;buttresses with set-offs defining bays.Interior:butt-purlin,collar and tie-beam roof structure with some renewal of timbers.
