Barn. C17 origins, largely rebuilt in late C18 or early C19 reusing C16
timbers. Timber frame, weatherboarded, rendered and corrugated sheet clad.
Steeply pitched corrugated sheet roofing. 5 bays and 2 bays, 5 bay section
has a central 2 bay midstrey to rear with opposed opening. Earlier 2 bays to
right are open fronted to rear. An open fronted lean-to attached to left of
midstrey. Projecting into yard from end bays are 1 storey sheds. Interior:
early bays have arched braces to tie beams, double butt purlins and collars to
principal rafters, elsewhere studding with mid-rail, straight braces to tie
beams. Included for group value.
