House. Part late C15, part C16. 2 storeys: 5 bays: set sideways on to road.
Timber-framed and plastered with remains of comb-patterned pargetting in
panels. The ground storey of the east gable underbuild in brick. Pantiled
roof, gabled on east and hipped on west. One internal chimney-stack, and one
external, on rear wall. Mainly C20 3-light casement windows. C18 casements in
east gable. One original 4-light window with diamond mullions at rear: 2
similar blocked windows visible inside house. 6-panel door: sunk panels with
moulded surrounds, flat pediment supported on ornate brackets. Plain C16
crown-post roof over the 3 eastern bays: good timbering inside. Fine C18
fireplace surround and duck's nest grate in one ground floor room, probably
brought from elsewhere.
