Former farmhouse, now two cottages. C14 core with late C16 addition and alterations to form a three-cell house. C19 alterations. Timber framed, encased in C19 red brick; pantiled roof. Two storeys and attic. Four windows, C19 and C20 casements under segmental arches. Two doorways with C20 doors; a third doorway to the right now bricked up. Internal stack. Hemm Dinn comprises a C14 range which has been heightened by over one metre, probably when the right hand cell was added. The top place of the earlier house has a stop-splayed scarf joint. Some good exposed framing and floor structure, mainly inside Hemm-Dinn.
