Buscot Park bridge over the lake, approx 50m S of Basque House

Ornamental bridge. Circa 1890. Designed as part of the remodelling of the
park by Harold Peto. Squared rubble stone and finely jointed ashlar on the
W face and rubble stone and ashlar with brick above road level on the E. 3
semi-circular arches, the centre one taller than those at the sides. Each
arch has squared abaci and there is a squared string course above these to
denote road level. Each face curves towards the corners and is topped by a
coped parapet. Acting as an eyecatcher to be seen from the NE terrace of
Buscot House.
