MARKET LAVINGTON - SU 0054 12/258 Doorway and section of kitchen garden wall to Market Lavington Manor II Section of kitchen garden wall, mid C19. Flemish bond brickwork with inset cogged brick course and stone copings. Wall approximately 2.5m high, arched over doorway, and running approximately 13m either side of door to angles. Doorway of stone, late C17, brought from the C16 Old Parsonage in Parsonage Lane, demolished 1862. Panelled pilasters and staff-mouldings around opening, and keyblock in lintel. Stone shell canopy on acanthus carved consoles, and bearing mantled arms at centre. Plain to rear.
