Cottage, mid C18. 2-cell end chimney plan. 1 storey and attics. Timber-
framed and plastered. Hipped thatched roof; one original dormer, gabled and
thatched, with early C19 casements. Original end chimney of red brick. Two
2-light early C19 small-pane casements. Early C19 boarded entrance door. C20
open porch on posts with corrugated iron roof. An oak bridging beam with
narrow chamfer; other framing concealed but probably unaltered. Included as a
good small example of the 2-cell end-chimney plan form which continued in use
in rural areas through the C18.
