Stables, now shop and outbuildings. Mid/late C18 with C19 and C20 alterations.
Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, and uncoursed rubble;
old plain-tile roof. Rectangular double-range plan. One storey plus loft and 2
storeys plus loft. Front has central archway, with plain impost blocks, now
infilled with later window; outer doorways are probably original but that
immediately to left of centre has brick dressings and is inserted. Side walls
have various casements some inserted; 4 windows towards rear of right wall have
remains of leaded lights. Rear has further doors and casements, flanking
archway, and has 2 half-hipped gables with loft doors. Roof has further loft
doors at sides in hipped dormers. Interior: Clasped-purlin roof. Included for
group value.
