Pair of houses, now shops, early to mid C18, ashlar with stone
tiles to No 80 and Bridgwater tiles to No 82. Coped north gable
and end wall stack to each. Two storeys and attic, 3-window range
each with coved eaves cornices raised angle strips and first floor
dripcourse. First floor range of 3 sashes in bead-moulded
segmental-arched raised surrounds with keystones to each house,
original 12-pane thick glazing bar sashes to No 80, 13-pane sashes
to No 82. No 80 has one hipped dormer, No 82 two original hipped
dormers with segmental-arched 9-pane casements and timber moulded
eaves. No 80 has dripcourse complete, ground floor C19 three-pane
shop window to right, 6-panel door is segmental-arched raised
surround with hood on brackets and sash in plain raised surround to
left. Moulded plinth. No 82 has ground floor entirely obscured
by C20 shop fronts, fragment of dripcourse visible. No 80 has
gabled rear wing.
