house

Lock-keeper's house. Late C18 with early C19 additions. Hammer-dressed stone,
stone slate roof. L shaped in plan. Front has doorway with monolithic jambs,
to either side are single sash windows. To left is single storey extension c1983.
Original canal side house has doorway with monolithic jambs and 3-light flat
faced mullioned window with overlapping lintel. Ashlar stack at junction of the
2 ranges. One other brick stack. Hipped roofs. Listed for group value
