Terrace, part of larger row. Early C18 origin with mid C19 openings
to Nos. 55 and 57. Hammer dressed stone. Quoins. Stone slate
roof, (bitumen covered). 3 ashlar stacks. Kneelers to rear.
2 storeys. Nos. 59 and 61: doorway to left and right, that to
left having very deep lintel. The doorway to right, No. 61, is later.
Former 8-light double chamfered window with only king mullion and one
further mullion remaining. To 1st floor is former 7-light double
chamfered window with only king mullion and one further mullion
remaining, and blocked centre light. Nos. 55 and 57 are terraced
pair each with doorway to left and 5-light window with 2 mullions
removed. To 1st floor, each dwelling has two 3-light window with
all mullions removed.
