II

Farmhouse, formerly Fifield Farm. C17, altered and extended c1800.
Timber framed and brick, with some brick laced flint to original
gable. Thatched roof. Long range at right angles to lane. Lobby
entry plan with dairy at further end. Framing now fragmentary, 3-
panels high. To this was added c1800 two bays along road forming
facade of 3 bays with central entrance, all brick with thatched
roof. Entrance has half margin-glazed door within modest portico
on reeded columns. C20 casement windows.
