Cuckoo Farmhouse

GV II

Wrongly shown on OS map as Hamptworth Farm. Farmhouse. C17,
rebuilt c1870. Flemish bond brick, thatched roof, axial brick
stack. Single storey and attic, 3 windows. 4-panelled door to
right of centre, two 3-light casements to left and one 3-light
casement to right, all segmental-headed. Three eyebrow dormers
have 2-light casements. Left return has one single casement to
attic. Right return retains some C17 stretcher bond brick. Rear
has 2-light casement to right, lean-to extension to ground floor,
single casement to attic.
