C18 front to much older house. One and a half storeys. Thatched. Chalk and
local random rubble, right hand bay rendered. Two brick ridge chimneys. Three
small 3 light dormers in thatch with stone tile modern cills. Two 3-light casement
windows and 2 modern bottle glass windows. Two doors, made of ash and with
strap hinges from a demolished church, right hand door has stone tile bracket
hood. Garage doors to left. Five dormers to rear, one with old casement windows.
Interior: west room has large fireplace with cambered lintel; also huge internal
lintel of window to road is notched both into a full cruck and into the door
wall, possibly indicating residual timber framing. In the roof to east are
remains of a cruck and evidence of smoke blackening.
