Two houses now 1 dwelling. Late C18. Coursed ironstone rubble and squared,
coursed ironstone. Steeply pitched slate roof. Stone coped gable. Stone end
stack and blue brick ridge and end stacks. 4-unit plan. 2 storeys. 5-window
range. Entrance on right has 2 semi-circular stone steps, a panelled glazed door
and wood lintel. Cast-iron bookscraper. Blocked entrance on left has inserted
C20 window. Ground floor has 3- and 4-light metal casements in wood frames.
Keyblock stone heads. First floor has five 3-light casements in wood frames.
Keyblock heads or wood lintels. Two C20 dormers and a skylight. Interior has an
inglenook fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer, 2 bread ovens including one
with a stone lining, plank doors, chamfered beams and a small cupboard with
wrought-iron butterfly hinges.
