4/305 Nos 1 and 2 Tuckingmill Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse, now two cottages. Early C18, addition late C18.
Limestone ashlar and dressed limestone, tiled roof with ceramic
ridge cresting and brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two-storey
3-window. No 1 has 6-panelled door in chamfered stone surround
with lean-to porch, 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned window
either side, with cast-iron casements, No 2 has C20 six-panelled
door and 2-light mullioned casement. First floor has 3-light
mullioned casement either side of 2-light mullioned casement.
Right return to road has C20 steel casements. Rear has C20 porch
and door, 2-light mullioned casements and two gabled dormers.
Interior of No 2 has chamfered beams with runout stops. Ceased to
be a farmhouse 1959.
