House, now house, flats and shop. Late C18 facade to earlier
building. Timber-framed. Front elevation clad in painted
mathematical tiles, left side elevation tile-hung. Wing rendered
with weatherboarded right side elevation. Plain tile roof.
Range parallel to street with cross wing projecting to front at
right end. 2 storeys and attic with moulded wood eaves cornice.
Wing has moulded bargeboards forming pedimented gable. Roof half-
hipped to left. Brick ridge stack at right end of main range.
Very tall C20 dormer to left of stack. Segmental-headed
attic casement to wing. Regular fenestration of 2 glazing-bar
sashes to main range and 2, close-set, to wing. Door to centre
of main range with 6 fielded panels and 2 top lights, with fluted
Doric pilasters, plain frieze, and flat hood with dentilled
cornice. Late C19 shop front to ground floor of wing. Tile-hung
rear lean-to, with short 2-storey weatherboarded central wing,
possibly a stair turret. Interior not inspected.
