5/90 Amberton Cottage

GV II

House, former pair. Mid C19. Of painted render with pegtile roof. 'Cottage
ornee' with two, 2 storey parallel gabled ranges with lower hipped ended rear
block at right angles. The latter has a lean-to porch on its entrance face.
Central cruciform stack. Each gable has a diamond leaded light casement on the
first floor over a hipped roofed, canted, leaded light bay window. Elaborate
bargeboards of arch braces form with apex pendant finials. Contemporary simple
iron railings in front.
