Three cottages forming terrace: C17/18. Random rubble, timber-
framing, rendered panels, tiled roof. Row parallel to road, 2
storey, upper largely in roof. High stone plinth, partly
retaining wall: left-hand end close-studded timber frame, with
some wide studs; centre rail: main floor beams tenoned through
studs. Two 2-light casement windows. Above two C20 gabled dormers.
Left gable stone built, end showing on front: 4-pane wide sash
window to upper floor. Large rendered chimney breast, with tiled
off-sets. Entrance in back wall. To right timber-framed front,
two-panels high on lm high plinth, sill set slightly higher than on
left, at window-sill level for this section, ground floor level
being lower. Steps up to centre dwelling cut through plinth:
Limber casement window to left, two to right, late C19 gabled
dormers above; 2 brick chimney stalks on ridge. Entrance to
right-hand dwelling on right return.
