11/223 Thomas monument, in churchyard,
about llm north of north-west
corner of tower, Church of St.
Peter and St. Paul

GV II

Chest tomb: 1804: stone. Weathered top, with moulded edge.
Sides have a raised margin, large raised oval central panel, with
oval paterae in corners. Ends elongated pilasters, raised margin
on main vertical face with oval panel. Moulded top to plinth.
Some weathering: to John Thomas, died 1804; with long 's', mixed
ordinary and italic script. Inscription to wife, died 1826.
