east corner of tower, Church of
St. Peter and St. Paul

GV II

Pedestal tomb; William Barrett, died 1837; stone. Square,
reeded dome in centre capped with small, iron ball. Below top
sweeps down to step and moulded edge of flat lid. Corners plain
columns without capitals or bases; sides raised triple reed
outline to rectangular panel for lettering. Moulded base, all on
flat stone slab. Similar to Browning monument nearby, (q.v.).
