C1857, architect probably also Henry Clutton. One and a half storeys, ragstone
with limestone quoins and dressings. Tile roof with coped verges to gable
ends and gabled dormers. Two bays, ogee-headed windows with casements. Carved
cornice to eaves acting as corbels to dormers. Segment headed door in return
facing gates; sheltered by tiled roof verandah on 3 chamfered stone posts.
Railings in front link with cast-iron gates with Welsh dragons and "St David's
School" in lettering on them.
Lodge has extruded chimney to rear with stunted ragstone stacks.
