Possible hall house, extended and divided. C16 with later extensions. Timber
framed, underbuilt in whitewashed brick and with whitewashed brick infill to
exposed frame above. Steeply pitched hipped roof to centre with end gablets,
lower pitches over end extensions. Original house of three framed bays to centre.
One storey and attics with square corbelled stack to right of centre. Arched
bracing to outer bays on first floor, larger 3-light, leaded, outer casement
dormers on old range; smaller 2-light leaded window to centre. Three ground
floor windows to centre. Left hand range C19, with half dormer end stack and two
ground floor windows. Door to left under open gable (no. 37). Right hand extension
with half dormer and ridge stack to end. Half-glazed door below in gabled brick
porch (No. 39).
