Water mill. Early C19 with later C19 additions. Red and blue brick; plain tile roof. Aligned east-west facing north with an extension to the east. Three storeys. Central buttress and forward projecting eastern extension to the left, the space between them infilled with corrugated iron sheets. Stable type boarded door to the right and a first floor boarded door above. Boarded up window to left of ground floor door. Beam at eaves level above doors for a hoist. Cottage attached to right not of special interest.

INTERIOR; C19 mill machinery: 16ft 8-spoke cast-iron overshot waterwheel, 4ft wide; iron pit-wheel, timber crown-wheel and cast-iron wallower; other machinery includes sack-hoist mechanism. Launder overgrown. Mill pool lies to the south.
