C18. Circular domed brick temple with tetrastyle portico. Stylobate of
7 steps, fluted Ionic columns, entablature with carved basso relievo frieze,
pediment, round-headed arch, semi-circular half-domed alcoves to side walls.
Now being restored 1968. The temple faces a circular pond in the centre
of which is a stone obelisk on a plinth. NMR.

Chiswick House, the garden buildings and ornaments form a group.
